The
2001 Partridge Ball was attended by 450 and was a
great success, raising in excess of £13,000.
The evening followed the format of a "shot"
of schnapps on arrival before indulging in smoked
salmon, fillet of beef and chocolate roulade.
The
main part of the evening was the auction, where kind
donations were auctioned by Peter Corbett and Iain
Curry. Our heart held thanks must go out to all the
people who purchased the items, which ranged from
a helicopter flight, a day of pampering at a local
Beauty Salon to a plastercast of your bottom! Thanks
too must go to Peridot Dunning for organising the
raffle and all those who so kindly donated items for
it.
£13,000
will enable the Trust to help over 32 children with
Cerebral Palsy to attend special centres, both in
the UK and in Hungary.
